Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative: 

The Karpaz Archhouses reflects the local architecture of the village houses by using traditional materials such as timber wood and local stone. The rooms are equipped with the typical Cypriot-style beds and wardrobes. Traditional cotton materials such as curtains and bed sheets are used in the rooms to keep the former village atmosphere alive.

The staff of the Karpaz Archhouses is from the village. So the people in the village have employment locally and do not need to leave the Dipkarpaz village thus keeping the community very much alive.
