- Travel along the coast to the eastern part of the Beşparmak Mountains to the Crusader Castle Kantara, 630 m above sea level.
After a short walk up, you will enjoy a view to all directions. Your guide will inform you about the history of the castle and its importance during the medieval period in Cyprus.
- Travel to the village Büyük Konuk.
- Lunch at the Delcraft Centre with homemade food. The vegetables are cultivated in the Delcraft garden.
- After lunch, you can help the villager women with the production of Helim cheese and learn more about cheese production. The dough for the special olive bread or helim bread is prepared and you can form the loaves and bring them to the oven. The women will watch the bread, while you go to the old restored oil mill. Lois from the Delcraft Centre will give you a lot of information about traditional house-building and olive oil production.
- Returning to the Delcraft Centre, the smell of fresh bread fills the air. Enjoy the warm bread with fresh helim cheese.
- After tasting the fresh helim cheese and the warm bread, the bus travels back to the hotel.
