The place to choose to treat yourself whilst on holiday in North Cyprus
The Arkin Palm Beach Hotel, like Famagusta itself, has a long history. It was the landmark accommodation in the region for many years everyone knew the name. But then in 2007 something strange happened - the hotel closed. Being a small island it wasn't long before the rumour spread that the hotel was being completely torn apart inside ready for a new, more modern face. Everyone waited....and waited until in December 2011 the hotel finally re-opened. For anyone that had known the hotel is the past, their mouths would drop open in amazement as they first walked into the new, stylish and modern Palm Beach Hotel. They hadn't just refurbished the hotel, they had completely transformed it. Today the hotel is arguably one of the best hotels on the whole island.
Service is second to none, with staff who are welcoming, friendly and who will always go that extra mile to ensure you love your stay whilst at the Palm Beach.
Although all the rooms have been beautifully decorated and are of a good size, there is something extra special about the sea-view rooms. These rooms offer absolutely stunning views over the beach and the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean. However, you can also enjoy these stunning views from the dining room, and the lounge bar, and the swimming pool, and the indoor swimming pool, and the fitness centre and the... basically from nearly everywhere in the hotel!
Being a 5-star hotel food and facilities are both excellent. At breakfast, you have a great choice of both hot and cold dishes, all of which are fresh and absolutely delicious. For lunch, you can enjoy a snack on the beach at the Surf Bar or pool-side Beach Club. For dinner, you can enjoy an al-fresco dining experience whilst looking out over the Mediterranean, before heading to the Lobby Bar for a personalized cocktail or an aromatic coffee.
Other facilities include the private beach, an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool, a small casino and a Spa and Wellness Centre which includes a sauna, steam room and fitness centre.
If you're looking for the perfect place to relax, but also want to treat yourself, the Arkin Palm Beach Hotel will not let you down.

Traveling to Famagusta
To travel to Famagusta it is recommended to hire a car for a few days, as this is the easiest way to explore both Famagusta and the surrounding east coast. Alternatively, it is possible to get public transport from Nicosia and Kyrenia to Famagusta, with buses running fairly frequently between all of these cities. The Palm Beach Hotel is then an 8-10 minute walk from the central bus depot.
