Great location from which to explore the treasures of the ancient city of Famagusta

The Betul Guesthouse is just a short walking distance to many of the must-visit sites in Famagusta, including the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque (St. Nicholas Church), the Venetian Palace and Othello’s Castle. This guesthouse is not all about location though as it has a multitude of other perks as well!

You will be greeted with a warm welcome from the family and will feel immediately relaxed and at home. You certainly won’t want to miss out on breakfast, as you get the opportunity to experience a full local breakfast which can include tomatoes, eggs, feta cheese, olives, borek (pastries), pancakes, honey, various fruits and delicious local breads.

As with many of the best guesthouses in North Cyprus, the rooms are relatively simple, but have all modern amenities and are very clean. You will certainly get a comfortable night’s sleep – although apparently many guests enjoy an afternoon nap in the guesthouse’s tranquil little garden!

If you're looking for the perfect place to relax, experience local hospitality and to explore the best of Famagusta then the Betul Guesthouse is the best place for you.

Facilities include a small garden, a terrace and sun-terrace, a bar, a shared kitchen and bicycle rental. Cycling is in fact one of the best ways to explore Famagusta and we can highly recommend renting a bike for the day.

Wireless internet is available throughout the guesthouse at no extra charge.

There are numerous good restaurants and bars in the local area and you won’t have trouble finding a good place to eat. For good local Turkish and Cypriot food we can recommend Temel Reis which is a medium-sized family-run restaurant which has been established since 1996.
