Nostalgia Boutique Hotel is situated in two fairly adjacent buildings, one of which has a swimming pool enclosed by walls that contain the history of centuries. Both buildings are situated in the narrow winding streets of the old town of Kyrenia, which were contained in thick city walls of which little remains. The renovations were done to ensure that the ethnicity of the buildings remained intact. The 28 rooms (20 in one building, and 8 in another) are all individually designed, and some have four-poster beds, varying in style to cover the various periods seen from the original buildings. Each room is named after a Cypriot bird to remind you of the past as well as the present.
Small and friendly, with staff attentive to all your needs and who treat you like family, there is a sense of being ‘at home' as to whether in the antique memorabilia of the lounge, or the timelessness of the inner courtyard, one feels a part of the pulse of this historic town.
Due to the size of the Nostalgia Boutique Hotel buildings, the leisure space is limited to its pool which is a veritable oasis in the center of town, with its poolside bar and restaurant and is for Nostalgia Boutique Hotel's guests only. Plus, arrangements have been made with Onar Village on the mountainside a few kilometers from Kyrenia center for guests to enjoy a wider range of leisure facilities of the sauna, Turkish bath, gym, massage and indoor pool all at special discount prices.
Two restaurants are set into the buildings which are open to locals as well as to guests, offering typical Cypriot fare. Boat tours and special interest tours can be arranged, and whatever you seek to make your holiday enjoyable, the staff will find it for you.
An extra facility not normally available in an urban setting is that all the vegetables and eggs served are grown organically on the hotel's farm.
